From June 7, 2025, to June 14, 2025, our church will be traveling to Honduras on a mission trip to support several agencies in Tegucigalpa Honduras. We will be serving alongside:

• Kathy Mizen and the team at Schools of Hope 

• Pastor Victor Estrada and the team at Renovation Church

• Alvin Anderson and his wife with Manos Extendidas 

This June, a new Gateway mission team is returning to Honduras to continue building relationships and supporting the incredible work happening in Tegucigalpa, Lomas, and the School of Hope. Our hands-on project this year will focus on helping rebuild the roof of Renovation Church in Lomas—a vital space for worship, children’s ministry, support, and community gatherings. We are aiming to raise $6,000 to complete the roof repairs.

The team will also be doing home visits in Lomas, spending time with our sponsor children, playing games, teaching about the love of Jesus, and creating meaningful connections with the community. In addition, we’ll be distributing food bags to the elderly, widows, and church families in need, and installing water filters in homes in Tegucigalpa—helping provide safe, clean drinking water to vulnerable families. We hope to raise an additional $3,000 to cover the cost of the food packages.
